As I was reading last night, it hit me like a ton of bricks. There is a BIG OLE discrepancy in LS! When Scott goes to Boo'ya Moon, he is gone from our world, as is Lisey when she goes. When Amanda goes catatonic and Lisey finds her in Boo'ya Moon, how in the heck is she in 2 places at once? She is sitting on the bench at the pool in Southwind as she calls it, yet she is still physically at Greenlawn. So, when Lisey pulls her back into our world, shouldn't she be in 2 places at once? Both in the parking lot and on the patio at her room?
Ms. Mod, can you ask the man himself for some clarification? Thanks a ton!

I've read the book before, I just never realized that. What I am saying is that while Amanda is catatonic, she is still physically in our world. Lisey goes to "find" her and bring her home, so she is also in Boo'ya Moon. She is both at Greenlawn and in Boo'ya Moon. She can't be physically here in our world but just mentally over there or Lisey wouldn't have been able to pull her back and be outside the facility. If Amanda was going to Boo'ya Moon, she should have been gone from here, just like Scott was but she wasn't. She was still here being admitted to the hospital. Physically she is in 2 places at once. Please, someone tell me that this makes sense.

No, that still can't be, because when Lisey goes to Greenlawn to get Amanda, they are both sitting on the patio. They Lisey takes her to Boo'ya Moon, where she finds another version of her sitting on the bench. Remember when Lisey takes her from the patio, they leave behind their shoes.

It's similar to the situation with Scott when he is in the guest room wrapped in Good Ma's african. He's physically sitting in the rocking chair, but he could be farther away. Lisey is able to bring him back because the african was essentially holding his place in this world.

But being an anchor meant it could only travel one way, that's why they had to leave it behind in Booya Moon, it couldn't come back with them. So how could it have held him in our world in the guest room? Forgive me, I read that book in September, I'm probably forgetting something...
