Hi, I'm not sure if it's a rumor or not, but will this be Sai King's last year of writing the Entertainment Weekly articles?

He's already done.
The ceremonial "fork poking" is over and done with...![]()
Sadly, this is true. Just opened my new issue of EW and there is a formal notification from the editor, and of course, the Pop of King himself addresses and says goodbye to us all.![]()
Is there a link to Steve's last article?
Usually I can find them on line, but alas not this one. Would enjoy reading his goodbyes.
I saw that article by him in the last issue. Very sad.![]()
Is anyone talking about collecting all these together in a book? I can't say it would be very timely stuff at this point, but even dated SK is still pretty good.
I've been wanting a collection of all those old "King's Garbage Truck" college newspaper articles too. Although, I can understand if he would be embarrassed by the stuff he wrote back in college. I wrote for a daily comic strip back in college and today I cringe at some of the stuff I wrote!
Not that I'm aware of.
I'm not sure if they would be able to do it without Steve's permission. My guess is he might own the intellectual property rights as a guest contributor--I'm thinking of it in terms of how an artist or photographer owns the rights to their contributions and their work cannot be used elsewhere without their permission and/or compensation. EW may have exclusive rights for a certain period of time, though.
