    Default Great Christmas surprise :D

So after reading Salem's Lot, I wanted to see the movie, after looking at many stores and only finding expensive copies online I kinda just gave up.. I asked for it for Christmas back around Halloween but kind of forgot about it, I was certainly surprised to open it on Chrismtas morning I'm watching it now x) Can't wait to finish.

So to make this thread actually have a point, lol, what were your thoughts on the movie? My uncle told me that today this wouldn't be that scary but back when it was first on tv it was the scariest thing ever xD

What a great suprise...and yeah, it was quite the fright back in the day-but I think it holds up tolerably well in this age of CGI...

    Hi,

BTW It's currently been reshown (the David Soul version) on either the Syfy or Horror Channel in the UK (sorry, I forgot which).

    Long days and pleasant nights

The kid floating and tapping at the window screwed up my dreams for a while.

Yup same here, that part always creeped me out. Why would anyone open the window to that? *Shudder*

I think some bits can still be classed as 'scary' or 'jumpy'... I know I jumped especially when... Straker was first saw on screen! :O
