I am ticked off today because yesterday a bloody magpie killed the baby finches in our apple tree birdhouse. I was just coming around the corner into our yard when I spotted it flying with one in his mouth. They were all gone and I was crying all day....great Canada day!

I am both ticked off, saddened. One of the baby eagles in the nest I have been watching died. His name was D12 and he was electrocuted on a pole. He just took his first flight last week. I have been watching them since hatch.

My nose is running so fast you'd think it was a marathon runner. My lungs feel like they're about to pack their bags and move out. And muh noggin is about to fall clean off my neck because it feels like it weighs thirty pounds.
