I am totally ticked off with bored individuals who seem to get their jollys by lighting bush fires every summer then watching the firies take days to put it out.
We are in drought, the ground is cinder dry and we didnt need the 10 fires a day that were deliberately lit over the Christmas break!!! One fire was re-lit up to five times after they firies had extinguised it !!!!
Driving back from the farm the other day we had to take a 45 minute detour coz some loser had torched the National Forest right next the the highway we were on. That fire burnt for two days!

And, while on the subject of hot weather..... I am so ticked off with this heat!!! 10 days in a row over 40 degrees and today .... 40 and thunderstorms - you could almost ring the water out of the air this morning ! We are getting this crap heat and fires while the east coast is drowning under monsoonal rains ....

oh .. I could go on today !

"A shoe tree starts with one dreamer, tossing his or her footwear-of-old high into the sky, to catch on an out-of-reach branch."
Now these idjits chopped it down. There, you did it and your foul deed is reported. Does it make you feel good, better, bigger, badder? Are you proud of yourself?

Not only 'simple and negative', Mz. Sig, but vicious and selfish and joy killing.

I think we need to find an atoll in the Pacific and ship all of the aforementioned types there to live out their lives far, far away from us who only want to see a little joy in our lives.

I am ticked off today because it was yet another morning with a mug glued to the counter top by dried milk. I pretty much called him a child for not knowing how to pour and drink milk neatly. Just what I want first thing in the morning... scrubbing the counter top to take off petrified milk that he couldn't be bothered to wipe up at night.

I was going to post about some things that have been ticking me off, inducing headaches and anxiety and all, but after reading the posts here, those things seem kinda petty. I will say that I wish people would stop already with bringing treats into the office! Unlike the goodies in our wonderful Cantina, the sweet stuff is loaded with calories and takes up work space.
But all in all, I'm good.

I am very TICKED OFF today because I noticed on Amazon that someone has published a book that appears to borrow a lot (if not all) from the Master, Stephen King's, wonderful novel, "Salem's Lot". The book in question is called "Darkened Hills" and was 'authored' by Gary Lee Vincent, published this year by Burning Bulb Publishing and now for sale on Amazon. Apparently, this guy has stolen most of the settings, characters, plotlines and dialogue practically verbatim from "Salem's Lot". "Salem's Lot" is one of my personal favorite books - I have read it at least five times - and I admire Mr. King too much to not be totally ticked off at any kind of theft of his great work. I don't want to call plagiarism on this guy myself. But I do think Mr. King's attorneys might want to have a look.

    Ms. Mod,

Here is a letter posted by the author of Darkened Hills. I don't know if it is useful for anything but he addresses the issue vs. Salems Lot.
