I am ticked off today because...

The house that we just bought was a foreclosure. So, obviously, they weren't happy about it and we had some things to fix up around the house. But who the hell would break beer bottles and other things made of glass and scatter it about the yard?! When they have a dog and a little kid in the house!?!? I didn't notice it when we moved in because the grass was long enough and then the snow came, but now the snow has melted and everything is flat and mucky and I keep finding piles and piles of glass. It's so frustrating! Especially when my puppy finds a piece and decides to play keep away with it. I think I get it all and then up pops about 30 more pieces.

Jerks.

I don't get the destroying a house (or breaking bottles) because it was foreclosed thing. That happened a lot around here. I know it's not a pleasant experience but a person could be digging themselves a deeper financial hole by doing something like that.

I'm ticked off today because I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting to hear from the VA about my leg. It may still have an infection in it that could be getting into the bone.

I've been acting like a jerk all day. Trying to woosah myself so I don't flip out on anyone again.

I may have already told this story before but I'll tell it again.

I was working in an office with three (four?) other women. I was the youngest at 20-21 years old. The other women were in their mid forties.
One day two nuns dressed in full habits walked into the office and without thinking I put my hands in my lap and away from the top of my desk. Out of the corner of my eye I caught movement. All the other women had done the exact same thing. See a nun in a full habit, hide your hands under your desk!

(They had everything in those wonderfully mysterious deep pockets, didn't they! From rulers to rap your knuckles, tissues, a prayer card, a cough drop, a coin, a pencil, scrap of paper.

Healing vibes are being sent your way. Hopefully, the Dr's will get you on some serious antibiotics and you'll be on the mend soon.

I feel for ya. My dad has been going through similar bs with the VA. Took him three years to get the paperwork through that says his exposure to Agent Orange is the cause of his diabetes and the neuropathy in his legs so that he'll be fully covered medically. Not to mention his hearing loss. I hope you get some relief soon. ((((bighug))))
