Ticked off today because it's so cold outside. Wish for some warm and sunny weather.

I'm happy today because it smells normal around here again. That was so bad yesterday, I was worried the smell was going to permeate my clothes and I was going to smell like that wherever I went.Well, that's life in an industrial park. There used to be some kind of fish processing place close and we would have fish smell days once in a while too. I think the fish smell days were actually worse.
Fljoe0...I worked in a nursing home years ago, and once every month or so they would empty the septic tanks out back, which is where the smoking area was, and I frequented that way back when...it would stink to holy hell through the entire building the whole day, making me yearn for the regular smells of the nursing home, not pleasant in the first place. Awful.
I am ticked off because it is 12:47 am and I cannot sleep. I have to get up early. I'm tired and need to sleep...but cannot.
Money can't buy you happiness...It can sure as shi! pay your bills and some peace of mind. Crud.
Peace.
We had a heating guy out Tuesday to look at our heater, because every time it turns on there is this funk of what smells like something electric burning. So he "fixed" it, and it worked great for a day. Then yesterday it clicked on, and it is the same effing smell! So I get to wait around here all day for him to squeeze us in...
I'm ticked off because my state refund arrived before my federal and the fee from our tax people made it to where our finances were little better off than they already were. I need that money! I wanna buy one of those cars for my daughter to beep around in![]()
That is always annoying when they say they are going to be there inbetween appointments.
Aw Siggy, I hope you get the rest you need soon. Mojo, If the guy didn't fix it correctly the first time shouldn't you get a discount or a refund? Did you get any kind of guarantee on the work? What a pain in the butt!! Hope he shows up soon.
We have a forced air furnace. According to the repairman on the first visit, the fan on it was set on low, and it wasn't blowing out the air fast enough so oily dust was getting burnt and that was causing the smell. It seemed like a BS answer to me, but I know nothing about heaters, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He said he cleaned off what he could and set the fan on medium so it should blow out faster, which it does. But it still stinks.
