I think I have tonsillitis...feels like I have razor blades stuck in my throat.
Ah well, going to see "Black Swan" later so I'm sure that will cheer me up.

I will be going online to buy concert tickets with a fan pre-sale at 10:00 AM my time (Pacific). I will be competing with brokers who buy up lots of tickets with a fleet of computers and accounts. It really pisses me off.

6 year old fridge died in 2009 (multiple times), Dishwasher last year (2010), drier broke (well it just needed a new ignition switch), 3 year old pellet stove has had a few issues, and we had to fix the pilot light on the gas stove last year. That's more than 3, but it's surprising how many things can go wrong in a short period of time. And all these appliances are/were less than 7 years old.

If we replace everything now, we should be good for a couple more years.

My mother spent the equivalent of $600 on an electric cooker 15 moths ago. On Boxing Day--26th December--it broke down and unfortunately she misplaced her warranty so couldn't get it repaired free of charge. Somebody came to look at it and said it would cost almost as much to fix as to replace it, so she had to buy another new cooker. This time I filled out the warranty details online and have the proof stored safely in my email account. Ooh and the amount of money she spent on a supposed "frost free" refrigerator is ridiculous when I think of the amount of time I spend having to defrost it!

Drives me crazy that companies can charge so much money for appliances which are obviously not built to last or perform as well as claimed.
Sheesh, I really am ranting today...grrrr!

In 2010 my Coffee Maker, Stove and Dryer went to appliance heaven.....We have replaced the stove, coffee maker and dishwasher...I will be getting a dryer as soon as I find one I like. We have super hard water here, which kills coffee makers and dishwashers. All part of living in the state of Ohio. ( if any of you have hard water let me know, there is a product I use that works better than most for hard water in dishwashers and coffee makers)

I'm ticked off because I had an amazing dream, and when I woke up I realised it didn't really happen
