I haven't seen this show, but it sounds very interesting.

I saw a different show a few months ago (narrated by Morgan Freeman) and one episode was about when/how life might have began on earth. (For those that believe in evolution).

Scientists have collected particles left behind from comets that have contained amino acids, which make up protein. They have theories which suggest life on this planet could have been brought here from elsewhere in space. They also think it's possible that life could have been brought here from Mars in the form of space dust.

Of course there's no way to actually prove any of this yet, but they are some very interesting ideas.

As Jimmy Cliff sang 'There are more questions than answers' and as you say, interesting and challenging to contemplate them.

And I'm with those who find the very earnest (if somewhat patronising) guy very annoying!

Here's a link to their web site but sometimes stations will block viewing from outside the U.S. so not sure if it will work for you. They do have full episodes online.

Haha, you got me! I adore his voice, those dulcet tones are like honey for the ears. (I don't know what that means either but it sounds goodish.)

I'm glad you hear everything in his voice and not Anthony Hopkins' "Lecter"...then I would be worried.
