Thinking about movies like Lifeboat, Buried, or 127 Hours, I don't know that a film of Gerald's Game is impossible. Technically, at least.

I am thinking Steve must look at all perspectives when writing a book. I could only imagine the visions of things that run through his mind. I love his works, but must say I also have loved the ones of Tabitha's I have read. especially liked Burning Candles. your question must have also taken some real thought. I actually had to think about where my opinion laid on this.
IMO, I think it's a little ridiculous to imply-let alone ask-if Tabitha wrote Gerald's Game. After all, it says so right on the cover that it's by Stephen King.
I did not have a problem reading Gerald's Game as an sK novel. It sounded like him to me; though I have not read a tK one yet, to my chagrin. The fact that one of his works will seem unfamiliar bears witness to his range, which I think he was in part born with, has in part as an acquired skill, but is mostly due to his lack of fear of, or rather his willingness to face, the unknown. I think he may actually dread sometimes his own imagination because of the possibilities and demands it may present him.
I will never forget . It was genius, plain and simple.
Of course SK wrote it. I remember my first read of it and one part scared me so bad I slept with the lights on. No other author has ever had that effect on me, therefore, I know who wrote it and I thank him for giving me the willies!!
