Where is Stephen King's cameo

I think Stephen King played the pastor(?). I never watched it from begining to end. I only saw a version(original?) of it half way thru it on TV. I heard that he's the pastor, if there even IS a pastor.

No, he wasn't in the movie just like he wasn't in Carrie or the orig. Shining either . I enjoy when he makes appear. in the movies though .
