Watched this last night.

I picked up a Stephen King DVD set off Amazon (it was going for a song) which includes Carrie, The Dark Half and Misery.

Having read all those books I decided to check this out (I've seen the other two, but it was YEARS ago).

Last night I watched The Dark Half and I have to admit it wasn't too bad. Not a masterpiece or anything - but in no way terrible. Timothy Hutton was good in it, and it followed the beats of the novel quite nicely I found. One thing that did impress me about the movie was the ending. The effects were pretty good for something which was obviously made on a low budget - although I wouldn't recommend eating your dinner while watching it! lol.

But yeah, pretty competent movie.

Watched this movie not so long ago, I enjoyed it, stuck pretty close to the book.
Can't remember the word they use in the movie to describe the sparrows, but the explanation was something like they are there to guide the newly deceased to the afterlife.
So when Thad had "Stark" removed from his brain at the hospital they were there, as they were in their final confrontation, to take whichever one of them died.

I don't think that makes much sense, sorry...I know what I'm trying to say though.

I've seen the movie several times. I just got done re-reading the book. The book is also very awsome. I've been nursing a broken foot (result of being hit by a car, no less) So I have a ot of time on my hands to catch up on my reading. I just started The Tommyknockers. One of the few SK books I never read.
