    Yeah, this book's pretty cool and quite action packed. I especially enjoyed the connection to The Stand. But it didn't have the previous book's nutty urgency. Still, it was good fun and as a whole I'm really liking these books!

    I've always gone back and forth between DRAWING OF THE THREE and THE WASTE LANDS in terms of which is my favorite. Of the entire series, though, it's definitely one of these two. I love the complexity of the plot in DRAWING, but this one's just got so much action, moves the story along so far, and the return of Jake is still one of the best-written things I've ever read.
