I read "From a Buick 8" some years ago, I had a bit of difficulty keeping up with the characters but I enjoyed it enough to keep referring back to remind myself who was who, not my all time favorite, but a really good story.
I ran across a copy of the Audio Book at work last week and decided to give it an ear.
OMG! It's wonderful on AB! The characters came alive and sorted themselves out seamlessly in my imagination thanks to the wonderful cast of readers, even the story it's self seems to have taken on a whole new dimension, and although I liked it well enough when I read it, I'm loving the AB. Great stuff!!
Just a side-note: My dad had a Buick when I was a kid. The "I" was missing from the
BUICK logo, I asked him why it only said BUCK, he said it came that way because this one was a special model, it ran on mule power.... my dad was a big leg puller.
