I really want to see "The Breathing Method: A Winter's Tale" turned into a movie...

I think it should have gorgeous production design, should be directed by Clint Eastwood and should star Angelina Jolie as the pregnant woman and Kevin Bacon as the Doctor. I also think it should be marketed and released as a Christmas movie, with lots of Xmas tunes from that period on the soundtrack. It would be interesting to see that juxtaposed with the gruesome incident that occurs at the end.

After it ends, the camera should pan up to snow falling from the sky - fade to black - and end with the title card "Stephen King wishes you a Merry Christmas"

If I was a director, I tell you, I'd be hunting down the rights for this and working on a spec script RIGHT NOW. Oh... this would SO WORK!!!

Good film idea, and while I find it sort of amusing(I have a sick sense of humor) to release at that time-it would be wildly inappropriate given the miracle we celebrate then...
