Death Doctor: sequel to The Shining

Does anyone know if there's a sequel in the works to The Shining? Someone told me that he was writing a book call Death Doctor. It's supposed to be about Danny all grown up and working for Hospice. After all these years, The Shining is still one of my favorite books and would love to read a sequel.
