I don't get it

There are parts of the story that intertwine with the DT series, Hearts of Atlantis and even Insomnia. Many of his characters cross paths with characters from other books and sometimes you won't get everything that is happening if you didn't read those other stories. That is why they call it Stephen Kings Universe - it is all connected. It will still be a great story even if you haven't read the other ones, but it will be even better if you have.

As much as I loved the talisman(my sk fave!!), is as much as I hated Black House which I scoffed up as soon as it hit stores. I hated it so much I told all my friends don't bother it has nothing to do with the talisman. Well, I was wrong. About 2 weeks ago,bored I picked it up again only to realize I never really read it the first time around. I think because I expected to see all my old friends ( ie , Richard, Wolf) but actually it was a really great book. The mistake I made was expecting it to be something it wasn't, that put aside I apologize to all my friends ( and SK of course!!)great read give it awhile and it kinda lurks up behind you and grabs you b4 you realize it.

Black house is an awesome book. It was even more difficult to get into than The Talisman but, WOW, it is worth fighting through the beginning. Trust me

I liked Black House a lot and it did drag at the start but once you power through the first 100pgs. it's a great read.
Can't wait for Talisman 3!

This is the only King book I never finished when I read it for the first time. But after I've read Talisman and try with Black House again I also got little problem with the beginning but when I keep reading everything became more clear to me and it was pretty good.
