    Hi All,

I am aware that I'm begining to sound like a broken record, when I say what I am about to say: New news.... coming soon.

However, I say this with extra enthusiasm today, as a recent, yet at this time secret, development has occured. I'm sure when it is revealed, it will be worth the wait.

I thank you all for your patience and continued support in this adventure

    Cheers all,

    Seb

    Hi all,

Thanks for the support Mr. Flagg

Well as promised a while ago, here is the new news that I have been looking forward to tell for a while now. The Boogeyman film now has a new team behind it, (well except for myself) it is an exciting change which will benefit the film in the most positive way.

On top of this news I am delighted to tell you all that the film no longer has a 45 minute run time. It now has it's original run time of 1hr 20 mins approx. So it is once again as the thread title says. I am adjusting the script accordingly as we speak. There is now more room for the characters to breathe and the story's integrity will remain in tact.

The new shooting dates are estimates at the moment, but I am aiming for end of May - start of June 2011. Post production will take about a month.

As always, I look forward to all of your thoughts,

I thank you all for your fantastic support

    Cheers all,

    Seb

    Hi, Seb!

    You are always welcome.

We all appreciate your updates. Please be sure to keep us posted.

IMO, the new length is fantastic news. Like you said, the characters will have a little breathing room, and the integrity of The Boogeyman shall remain intact. Wtg, man!

    Hi All,

Wow it has been a while!

Firstly, thanks Mr. Flagg for the input.

Just an update for you all to say, that with this extended break we have had, it has given me plenty of time to work on the script for longer periods of time. I have also had the fantastic oppertunity to go location hunting!

I beleive the scipt to be about 70% complete now. That does not seem to be a lot, considering the amount of time spent on it, but I wanted to make sure that the 'feel' of teh story remained in tact.

The team and I have been looking for the best suited locaions for the film, and we have found a fantastic one for a certain scene, I'm personally very happy about it becasue I think it's a great location.

That's all the updates I have for now, but as always, keep replying and inputing your thoughts, good or bad.

Thanks for the great support too,

    Cheers all,

    Seb

Wow, I haven't been here in quite some time but this is great and very interesting news. The Boogeyman was one of the first SK stories I ever read (I think I was maybe 12 at the time) and I still remember it fondly, so I'm more than a little excited that someone is finally doing a film adaptation and doing their best to stick to the original story.

Like someone else mentioned earlier in the thread, it's going to be almost impossible for me to travel to the other side of the globe to attend any film festivals that this may eventually play in, so my question is this: after the initial run in the theaters, are there any plans of putting out a digital release for folks to watch it online? I know there are legal restrictions preventing any sort of SKMB screening, but maybe via a different platform like YouTube?
