Hello Everyone, I have discovered and joined Stephen King.com for this particular question.
I recently got in a boasting argument with a friend to see who was the more accomplished Stephen King Reader. I have read more novels (18 to his 13), but he claims the longer novels he has read, It and The Stand, are of a higher value due to their length.
We are attempting to find an accurate listing of the lengths of Mr. King's Books. The Wikipedia page, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_King_bibliography, is potentially unreliable, and offers different values for The Green Mile:6X92 for the individual, 552, but only 400, a huge difference for the complete novel. Also, It list The Gunslinger as 224 pages, but the expanded version as 231 pages, only a 7 page difference. Of Course we are using the The Stand Complete and Uncut Edition.
Does anyone know where a more reliable source is for page numbers? This is a petty argument, therefore it is of the utmost importance!
