    Default Don't hate, appreciate.

    Ofcourse not.

-Don't you hate it when people talk about Stephen King and they mention the movies instead of the books. Read goddamned!

-When you stop in your car and let someone cross the street/cut in front of you/ etc. and they don't thank you.

-Foreign people who think by speaking louder they speak the native language and will be more understandable.

-Teenagers who think they know everything better and want to declare that at any given time.

I could go on, but I have somewhere to be.

    Knock yourself out!

People who are so plugged into their I phone that they text while they are a a party, lunch, a date, and update their Facebook with what they are doing every moment of the day. Enjoy the moment.......Not only is it rude....people are so self absorbed that they think everyone is waiting with baited breath for their latest update.....people how can you enjoy anyone's company if you are plugged in???? or a sunset? Live in the moment and quit thinking the moment will make a good post or update.....the art of face to face conversation and social politeness are dying......Get unplugged and live!!!! I sound like an old woman!!! ( I am)

    That so?
You ever left America and tried to comunicate in some other language than English?
    How do you sound?

Rascist remarks are NOT welcome. Not in my book.
But then again, nobody reads my books.

Chill please, that was not meant as a racist comment....and I'm quite offended you would think so, that was harsh. It's just a funny thing foreign people do when they encounter a language they can't speak. I do try and speak the languages of the country I'm in btw, I either study it or buy a book.

What ever happen to respect? No one ever thinks of how the others feel. So its easyier to watch a movie than read a book.

Yup gotta agree on this one.

When I lived in Greece I found the worst offenders were the English speakers, both British and Americans alike. They rarely ever attempted to learn even the basic pleasantries in Greek such as "hello," "please" or "thank you". And they spoke very slowwlllyy and LOUDLY because that makes everyone understand English. I found most other nationalities were more than willing to ask how to say things and attempt to integrate into the "foreign" culture.

After all, not everyone speaks English/American yet in my opinion we are arrogant enough to expect that everyone should. Even when WE are the foreigners in someone else's country.

Coming from a European country, I think it might be because languages are more embedded in our studies maybe? I learnt four languages in high school alone, so you obviously try and speak them a bit more than someone who doesn't get that opportunity.
