book snake ?
I thought it was a long line of books ...yup...
but for years I've taken satin ribbon and used it as a bookmark... .does that make it a book mark or a book snake ??
i think you meant me...i'm confused i know. but i was looking at the library policeman and toward the end of that story there are some interesting images. here they be: from the library policeman:
and there's more...before that...maybe 80 pages before that, that last was 569 my usa pb copy...but there's this business about "she has to lie still sometimes." ain't that neato! whooo-wee! so that's like bag of bones and duma key, all kinds of connections there! there was some other stuff too, pretty cool!
I believe the reference it to a long isle of book shelves and/or boxes. Think library shelves but only 3-4 feet high by 10-20 feet long. At least that is what I saw.
It's the way a stack of books look when you quickly stack them on top of each other making a snake.

not the best image...once you arrive....but there is a kind of "endless piebald side" to it...speaking as one who is more times than not on the wrong side of the...whatever...gun....broom...hoe...hook....yardstick...bo om-shakka-lakka-lakka-lak.
Could my last post be changed? The link? Seems like it might have my password to my page there at goodreads...which prolly isn't a good idea...
so...changed? as in...i dunno, re-linked, w/o my email and password....whoops.
gracias.
The link you gave only goes to the Home page for goodreads.com, not to the page that shows the image so no need to worry about your password or email but not very helpful for illustrating what a book snake is so perhaps the posts could just be deleted if you'd prefer.
