Book title help

New to forum
Could someone help me with the title of a SK book whereby the main character ends up
vented in an intensive care unit - not unlike SK following his road accident.

I can only think of The Dead Zone, but that was WAY before his accident.

It's not a book, but it also sounds a little like his adaptation of Kingdom Hospital.

I think the original poster was only comparing a King character to King's experience following his accident, and not saying this book came after the accident. Thats how I read it anyway. I have read some things King has written since the accident and wondered how much of his own experience (the accident) influence the story. With not much information, I would say Kingdom Hospital too. The scene I'm thinking of is when the guy is left on the side of the road after getting hit, and an ant eater comes out of the woods. He seem to lay there forever before someone found him.

guess I'll be the oddball (again) on this as I immediately thought of The Stand w/Stu Redmond held hostage & injected repeatedly w/Captain Tripps... also theresthe scene in Duma Key where Edgar is enraged w/his wife for no reason, and I think theres another but its slipped my mind.say sorry!
