Haven't seen this addressed to Newbies...

Hi, all:

This is for you really whiz-bang computerized people who know all about these forums and how to work them, if I may...

First of all, I go by "wolfy," in all small letters. I'm a female, so please don't think I'm a guy, even though at times I might act like one (hmmm!). I'm a mom of two boys, 17 & 24, both at home, married to Bill (nice guy) and the "mommy" of a mean, wickedly vicious Old English Sheepdog/Bearded Collie mix that we've honestly named "D'Argo," after the Luxon warrior from "Farscape." Believe me, when his temper's up, he lives up to that name! We live on the East Coast, not far from the city of Pittsburgh (and yes, I am a transplant from wide, open prairies so it's a horrible place to live for someone like me, so I do put it down at times; doesn't mean I completely hate it, but I don't LIKE it, that's for sure!). I've had some college education, worked for several years, got very ill and have been pretty much housebound for the past 10 years or so, which I HATE, but it's life after all and we can't always have what we want from it when a monkey wrench like illness is thrown in. I like to talk, read, watch movies, have a variety of tastes and am usually pretty friendly. Like the wolves, I am family oriented, and treat others like family until they do me wrong, then I'll bite you!

Now, about my question....

How the heck do I get an avatar on here? I'd love to put one of my wolves up for my avatar, but I have absolutely no idea how to do it!

Would someone be very kind and help me out on this one? I'd really appreciate it! And if after I receive your instructions and it works, I may even lick your face... :P

We don't allow custom avatars but I think there is a wolf avatar in the options you can choose from. Here's the link to the FAQ about avatars.

P.S. No face licks necessary--my Lab might get jealous.
