p.s. turns out that lumbering sound last night was a family of feral pigs. apparently they were having an avocado feeding frenzy!

Feral PIGS? Never heard it put that way before, of course I tend to be more respectful of the local constabulary.

We have feral cats in Hampton but they never travel in herds.
