Stephen's Empire Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. How long do I have to send in a picture?
A. The last day we’ll take your pictures will be September 3rd.

Q. Can I send more than one picture?
A. Yes

Q. Can we use pictures for characters, not just locations?
A. Yes, but we’ll pick and choose which ones will get used. Your chances will be better for locations than characters.

Q. Can we use Photoshop or Google images or do we have to take actual pictures of the location?
A. We want actual pictures, not Photoshopped or from an internet site.

Q. Do we have to list the location where the picture was taken?
A. Yes

Q. Who is going to be judging the pictures?
A. Stephen, Ms. Mod, and possibly other staff will be the judges.

Rules

1. The photo(s) submitted must be your own work. You may not submit photos for which you do not own the rights.
2. The photo(s) submitted must be related to Stephen or Stephen's works, e.g. a photo of a sign from King's County or of a store called Needful Things.
3. The photo(s) need to be submitted one at a time, i.e. one per post.
4. Each submission needs a caption and location information in the post.
5. Please do not submit photoshopped/edited images.

Submitting your photos of Stephen’s Empire.


Please note: you must have a message board account to be able to submit your photo(s).


Step One: Go to the Submissions thread

Step Two: Click on the “Reply to Thread” button OR scroll down to the Quick Reply area.

Step Three: Click on Go Advanced

Step Four: Click the “Insert Image” () button, and select the "From Computer" tab and click the "Select File" button to select the image to upload from your computer. Enter a caption, the location where the photo was taken and your name.
*** If you only see in input for URL, click Cancel, then click the Switch Editor Mode button () and repeat step four ***

Step Five: Click on Preview Post. Your post will appear above the original text box. If you do not see your picture there or get a message such as Attachment followed by a number, the picture will not display when posted. Please try again.

Step Six: Click Post [Quick] Reply
