I've been waiting, patiently, for this fabulous epic to 'come to the silver screen' since I first read the book in 1984...
A sticker on it's dust jacket dramatically declared... 'SOON TO BE A MOTION PICTURE!!'...and 27 years on, I would've gladly settled for any 'moving' interpretation at all...but that was before 'Avatar'...and now I don't really think that a 6 part TV series will quite 'do', (even if SS is involved!) and so must continue my vigil, in the hope that one day my dream of watching this movie...will finally come true...xxx
