    Default Pet Sematary

I too found this book a difficult read. Losing a companion is a sad experience.

Somewhere I read that Stephen said he wished he'd never written this novel. He said it made things seem to come down to nothing; that nothing really matters. He also said he didn't truly believe that himself. I agree with him. Hope all have a great Thanksgiving Week!

    A basic translation:

is a beautiful story that are very close, sad, distressing who knows ... 'sometimes we would be willing to do anything not to lose the people we love ... reading the novel or watching the movie I always felt strong emotions, the great King can do "live" his characters

i thought the novel went into more detail, as books often do, than the movie. i love the movie, but the book goes into soooo much more specifications that the movie only had so long to put it into a two hour- movie. i do love the book. one of my all time favs, besides carrie.

This was one of the few books that I can read more than once. So was The Dark Half.

I have to agree. I have read Pet Sematary twice and it's one of my favorite. Thought I read it third time sometimes. But not too soon.

I love all of his books, though. I'm currently trying to read The Green Mile but I haven't been able to get the time for it

The books usually do give you much more detail and allows you to see it on the movie screen in your mind... provided you are a person with some imagination. I'm tempted to list some classes of people that generally have no imagination, but I'll leave that for you to imagine.
