No I haven't.
Hi,
No.
The reverse, in my experience.
Long days and pkeasant nights
The only people I've met in person from online have been SKMB members
....all very cool, btw
Did you have a bad experience, Arista?
as of yet, ive never met anyone that i chat to online that i didn't already know from school etc so it takes out that element of 'surprise'. however i think that if i was to meet someone from here, for instance, i would be a bit more apprehensive than normal, but thats just because i get a bit nervous around strange people.( interpret the word 'strange' in the context that best suits you!!)
a a a a a a como conozco a stephen king?
I believe everyone that I have became acquainted with through the internet all met or exceeded my expectations. Of course, I have not met you yet so judgement is being withheld.![]()
I'm pretty sure *I'm* cooler online, lolol.
I've met quite a few people in person who I first knew online, and there's often a weird disconnect for me and it takes a while for me to find the person I know inside the body they're in, does that make sense? I get distracted at first by silly things like an accent or terrible hair or how they didn't look like I thought they did and it takes me a little while to adjust to the 3 dimensional person as opposed to the online version.
I'm also a bit socially retarded IRL and when the person I'm meeting for the first time is as socially inept as I am it can be weird and awkward, but I've found that as soon as we get used to each other the camaraderie and chemistry we have online is there in person as well. And other times it's love at first sight; I met one of my long time friends for the first time a couple years ago and we didn't stop laughing or talking for 6 straight hours, I love her to pieces!
I've met a few who, yeah, are cooler online than off. Kind of the exception, though.
Haven't met any in person, but have talked to a few on the phone. Thus far have found them all to be what I expected and much much more.
