Did the "Crimson Queen" ever get mention in any of the DT book? (SPOILER)

I just finished reading the DT series and didn't even learn of a being called the "Crimson Queen" (mother of the Crimson King) until I check the wikipedia. Did she ever get mention in any of the DT book? I read pretty fast so maybe I might miss something.

I don't recall her in the DT series of novels-but she is prominently detailed in the DT series of comics/graphic novels from Marvel in one of their well-written back-stories by Robin Furth...

Not that I know of. If it is though I guess I should start the journey over again to find it. ( oh the horror of having to go on such a journey for the 5th time.)
