Is it just me, or is regulators a little more king than Bachman? Don't get me wrong, King is my favorite writer of all time and I believe he deserves the name King.
It's just that I recently re-read all of the Bachman books (except Thinner) and noticed that Rage, Long Walk, Running man, and Roadwork all seem to be lacking the super natural. I'm pretty sure there is no supernatural in blaze but I don't remember. I also haven't re-read that one since it first came out.
Also while reading the Bachman books I noticed a lot of "King" Easter eggs. Father Callahan in Roadwork is the one that sticks out most, possibly because I just read that one, but there are defiantly others. I find this funny because if Stephen King really didn't want to be found out as the true Richard Bachman, his subconscious sure did a good job of doing it for him.
I also conclude that if Callahan, be it an alternate universe twinner or the same guy from Salem's lot, is in a Roadwork then that makes Roadwork connected to the dark tower.
also, also, on the dark tower connection note. the novel "IT" has a lot of references to other King novels. Novels that are not considered to be apart of the dark tower. But since they appear in "IT" and "IT" is a dark tower book, I conclude that all of these books connect to the dark tower.
AND...If these novels connect to the dark tower, then ALL of King's works are dark tower novels because Stephen king wrote them and there would be no dark tower with out him. OR would there?
