I agree, it should be a given about the bodily functions, no need to waste pages in a good book by insulting our intelligence-we know they gotta go and regularly too. It shouldnt be even brought up in my opinion. The same holds true for Roland's mother and her affair. It was mentioned and no need to go into intimate details. I would like to thank SK for being considerate enough NOT to dwell on unneccessary details. It just distracts from the story.

One thing that I've noticed, though bad translation may be the reason...
Just before she became Odeta again, Deta "Began to rub temples with her fingers"; However, at that moment she's in the wheelchair, bounded well - otherwise she would probably kill them both or something like that. Funny thing is that to me even the most obvious things (in movies, real life..) are easy to miss, so this little thing is just one more evidence of how much I enjoy and "get into" Stephen's books.

You mentioned the hazel eye color... I have hazel eyes and they change colors according to what I'm wearing. If I'm wearing bright blue they turn a blue color. Deep green makes them turn a really wild green color. Dark colors or red and they turn brown. If it's a light color like white or yellow the main color is green with a deep blue ring around them and lots of brown specks near the pupil.

I have some strange feeling that I've done something wrong No offense people, sorry if annoyed anyone; I didn't mean anything bad. The emphasis was on my last sentence. And of course I'm going to read all other books, I look forward to it!

Moomin, you have just received the benefit of one of a long line of first time posters that point out an error in a book and then never post another thing. The regulars get a little testy about that. Just stick around and keep posting, you'll see that this a great bunch and a good place to discuss all things King. Welcome and have fun.

And may you have twice the number.

Shame on him.
Mayhap he didn't describe their doody activity in detail, but he SHO 'NUFF described every night of sleep.... how long it took each of them to get into that state, how well they did or did not, and who went to sleep first, and who woke up first ..etc ad nauseum.
