anyone know or hear rumors when King and Staub are going to write the final novel to The Talisman and Black House? Don't really want the story to end but I'm ansty. It's been 25 years since I read The Talisman the first time.

Not sure exactly how long ago it was, but within the past year Stephen had thought that they would begin writing it in two years. Considering what his schedule looks like now, though, I would be very surprised if it was able to happen then.

I just finished re-reading Black House, and I'm officially antsy, too. Please, please tell SK & PS I'm another of the crowd that's ready for the final entry in the Talisman saga. Screw the musicals and the magazine articles. I think three is a good number to round out the tales of Travelin' Jack. (I'm secretly hoping Jack survives the gunshot by flipping as he fades on Earth to the Territories. The healing powers there are referred to multiple times in both Talisman and Black House, and there's no reason to believe Jack won't make it.)
