The Club

In The Breathing Method isn't there a creepy little club where they tell stories? I seem to remember that club being mentioned in another story, one where there's a guy who kills people by touches them, but i can't remember the title. Who thinks Steve should have a story just about the club and its secrets? Is it the dark tower on that level of reality or is it something else? I would like to know where the books come from and the pool table. And where that creepy butler guy is from and who he is as well. Who agrees with me?

B-lands..."The Club" is also featured in "The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands" from Skeleton Crew-I've always hoped for another "fly on the wall" visit for story hour myself...maybe someday...

Perhaps one was released in Full Dark, No Stars? I have yet to read it and would like to see if there is a 'club' story in it.

What I wonder about is the Narrator. I imagine he was invited to the club because he has a tale. Does he have a tale we'll hear later or are these tellings we're reading just him passing the tales he's heard along?

I would like a movie made out of it, even though its a short story, I think it would be good, it could be even like tales from the crypt type of way, or even Creepshow style where each member tells a story.
