Hi all: hope all are well.

finally getting the flat screen in the bedroom and instead of buying a 130$ monster HDMI cable from best buy-- i am going to go with an equally rated 5$ hdmi cable.

I ordered 3 this time - one 10 ft hdmi, one dvi to hdmi 10 ft to use with my mac laptop as a dvd player, and finally a firewire cable to connect my mini DV recorder to move my camcorder off tape onto mac for dvd ripping.

tot cost with shipping under 20$ if bought in store around or over 200$. Iwas quoted $130 for hdmi in the store. friggin ridiculous.. go the extra length and the markup is amazing.

I use 2 hdmi cables previously bought here on 2 other tv's.

I am doing a portable solar generator project and the PV panel I am using has MC4 connectors, which if cut off will void the warranty. So I needed a short MC4 M/F extention cable I could cut in half and use that to wire the panel into a charge controller. All the solar sites want a ridiculous amount for them, about $40 including shipping. I, finally, found what I needed on ebay for $17 including shipping. Still expensive for a short cable, but better than trashing my warranty!
