    Vera Donovan: " Remember; eclipse is at 5:00 ". Does marriage last only 5 years ?. There is another eclipse is Gerald's Game which seems to suggest that Jessie Burlingame's love is ephemeral.

    The eclipse is the same one-in SK's world-both Dolores an Gerald's Game are occurring simultaneously...and your assertion is an interesting one...

    Oh my, I AM so dense! I just finished reading this book, and I couldn't figure out what the tie-in to Gerald's Game was!!! Wow...I must've had a blonde moment!! DUH!! :-)
