I thoroughly enjoyed the Dark Tower Series. Without question, the 4th book, Wizard and Glass was my favorite. The disgust and hatred for Rhea the witch built up, and although there have been subtle comments about her demise, we don't know what happened to her. A story, even a short story about Rolands travels and his vengeance upon Rhea would been an outstanding tale! She caused a lot of pain in Rolands life and instruemntal in killing his Love that closure to what his encounter was like with Rhea would be a facsinating read!

I don't know. I like to think of her as an eternal villain Roland was never able to reach. It makes for a more tragic story and gives Roland a deeper character.

Hmm, yeah, I think I'd like to see Rhea get what's coming to her, also! I imagine Ka got the best of her somewhere along the line. They do say what comes around goes around....

Frank Muller did a phenomenal job voicing Rhea in the Wizard and Glass audiobook. It made me hate her more. The voice was grating and very unsettling to listen to. She is in my opinion the nastiest villain of the series. I really wouldn't mind if in the movie they used dramatic license and had a scene where Roland shoots her to pieces. That was too savory of a moment to be left out of the books. Although her demise could still happen in the ongoing Marvel series. As long as I see it happen somewhere, I'll be satisfied.

I'd like to see a story of love and betrayal where a young good hearted Rhea is seduced and destroyed by Flagg. Much the in the way he goaded Roland to take the test at such a young age. The problem with Rhea is she is just too Disney witch-like and 2 dimensional at best. If you showed Flagg introducing her to the wonders of magick and then ****ing her over, and her taking that pain and using it to become the solitary bitter bitch she's to become. You'd get a clearer sense of what drives her vitriol.

I have often wondered became of Rhea.

I too have operated under the hope of seeing her pop up in another tale, or have her final tale told from Roland's perspective.

If it does happen, i hope Sheemie is in on it!

I also would love to see a Rhea BOOK! not a short story but A book. Or a three book series! "The life and times of Rhea Da La Coos"
. starting at her birth , her life in Mejis, and then her life after Roland and Susan and the two other boys. She goes out into the world, after she Makes Roland kill his mom. Mayhap she has the pink ball with her, mayhap not. Mayhap The pink ball told her where to find another ball, maybe the red one or the blue one. Mayhap she 'owned' two balls at once and she was able to take "50 years" off her bony body and become a powerful witch in her 40s again. mayhap Anything. Id love to know about Rhea's mom
