Just picked up my first proof, and I have some questions...

I just picked up a proof copy of Rose Madder for .59 cents, and just for kicks I was wondering if anyone knows what such a book would be worth? I did a quick search online and I understand that it is the most common proof (10000 copies, I think), but I figure there must still be some kind of market for it. I highly doubt I'll put it on ebay or anything, but I'm just curious. I'm very excited about this find...has anyone read it or does anyone know if it may actually contain any real differences in text from the regular published version?

By the time it gets to the Advance Reader Copy stage, most of the edits are done and any difference between that copy and the published version would be typos or a continuity error. Sorry, I don't have any idea what the market is for this.

Hey even if it's only worth 59 cents its still kinda cool. I have a copy of Thinner that has a picture of Richard Bachman on it and as it really doesn't have anymore value I think its kinda cool

I own a lot of King proofs. As you noted, that of Rose Madder is the most common. It would normally go for about $10, if it's in very good/mint condition.
