Blaze didn't remind me of Mice and Men Blaze is a baby thief and in Of Mice and Men John Malkovich plays a mently disabled guy that doesn't know his own strength and accidentally kills everything he touch and gets his normal friend Gary Since into trouble .

I have never read Blaze so I picked it up the other day and have it on my list. Haven't started it yet but I did read the introduction.
