I was rather unimpressed with the book up until the Tales from Haven part kicked in. Because right before it was the (boring, I thought) part about how the town changed it's name a bunch of times, and I was literally cursing Stephen King for wasting my time with this book and giving his photo on the back the finger (lul), but after I read 'Becka Paulson's story, I was so creeped out and pulled in and read through Hilly Brown's story and about half of Ruth McCausland's story and didn't go to bed until after 4am haha. Epic, epic story. Not sure why some people hate it; it's my favorite book by King for sure.
Hi have finished Tommyknockers and in review it was a good book, although I thought the beginning about Gardener was all a bit unrelevant, maybe not all; but I thought a lot was about him and his journey and not about the thing we want to know about eg, the things in the woods. Lucky I liked him as a character! The whole Tommyknocker part was great though the digging etc, the town etc. But I must admit I thought the whole part in the UFO was rushed and the ending could have been longer, instead of the start. Was hoping we would find out more info in the ship. Oh well, still a great read and now onto the next!!!
