The Blue Air Compressor

Hi everybody,

i recall reading (i think) in the introduction to the story "the blue air compressor", that it was inspired to Stephen King, by reading an issue of a EC Comic.

Does anyone know WHICH ONE?

I'm just curious how many of these young whipper-snappers remember EC comics!...wish I could help, but am not familiar enough to give you a lead...
