You're right Mangler. I started my married life(version #2), with a built in step-daughter, but she IS my child-having raised her since age 5-and she's now blessed us with our first grandchild...I can remember the fear, wonder, joy and trepidation that greeted the announcement that my wife and I were going to have a son...then experiencing that same roiling boil of emotions again, knowing we were to have another boy 19 months later...it is one of the TRUE joys of any couple's life, and you are both very fortunate. Just save me a stogie!

That's so true! I'm 22 and have been in my son's life since he was a few months old so he calls me dad already. But it's different having one of your own... so many emotions going through you it's unreal. I'm a bundle of nerves!
