Default Hello New here and A big Stephen King Fan!!!

Hello my name is Jolene how are you all doing?? I have a question that may be answered here. Here goes nothing, I have recently just got done reading Blaze and it really disturbed me that it just ended with him getting caught The book felt like it was not a well thought out plan I really enjoyed the book but wish that it could have ended better. I read it in an hour cause i could not put it down it caught my attention from the first chapter. Why is it when you like a book so well it just ends very shortly? Will there be a alternate ending to this book or is that it??

I began to read your post and was distracted by the glaring spoiler in it. I have not yet read Blaze and others may have also not read it. I highly suggest that you edit the original post to include spoiler tags around where the spoiler is. Thank you.

Blaze was one of the Only books that I ever felt badly for the "bad guy". I Wanted things to work out for him, somehow. I was sad when things didn't exactly work as I would have wanted it to, but still a brilliant book.

Dime store philosophy here, but SK's books have all been like that for me...they ALL end too quickly-good ending or lame...that's the hallmark of a great writer, one that keeps your attention and your thoughts long after the first reading is done, where you care about the characters and the situations even though you know it's "just" fiction...
