Who is Patrick Danville? I'm guessing that he was in a previous King novel?? Anyway, just wondering because I thought he was a great character....

Be careful with Insomnia. It is the only SK book that I really did not care for and nearly ruined the DT series for me.

Insomnia's wonderful. Not only are we introduced to Patrick Danville, but Ralph Roberts is one of my all-time favorite characters.

I really liked the book until the ending when Ralph fought the Crimson King who turned into a catfish. A lot of build up with an eye-roll ending and me picturing a 6 foot red catfish in a chair talking to Ralph. I just thought the ending was poorly done. I was kind of surprised by the fact I did not like it considering I like almost everything else Mr. King has written.
