What an interesting story, I really enjoyed it. Norman Daniels is a bad, bad man. And what's so scary about it is that he is just a man. To me any way. I would be very happy to see this made into a film, and like someone suggested Mr. King would be fine to direct, I liked Maximum Overdrive very well.

Maybe its because I'm a huge "The Office" fan, but I pictured John Krasinski as Bill Stiener the entire time.

I also pictured Gerard Butler as Normal Daniels.

I haven't either! I am wondering how I missed it lol. I picked it up at the library this weekend. ( they finally had it in) I have just started The Passage by J.Cronin which could take a while, depending how good it is. But, this gem is definitely next!!

I think you will enjoy The Passage. It is the type of book that one can not put down. Some places are complex, so just take your- enjoy and let us know what you thought.
