Default question of book honesty while reading "everythings eventual" story collection

i'm re-reading this collection and i feel kinda bad cuz i've recently listened to the corresponding audio book and i have been skipping over reading the stories that were on the audio book, i can't help but feel bad, i love this collection....just wondering if anyone else has run into this same conflict of interest.

I am that way about certain SK movies: they make me uninteresting in re-reading the original stories. I can't reread the Shining for that reason. Or The Mist, or The Body.

no, i will reread if i've watched the movie cuz i've seen enough movies made about his books to know that they don't really stay true to the story at all.....it's just the audio books that i feel bad about

I'd rather poke out my eyes and have to learn braille than listen to an audio book.

Noooo I tried audio books before and they never seem to use the right person to read, i dunno maybe i am unlucky, truthfully I would never touch another audio book. It's not the same.
