See? This is why I think I stumbled on a goldmine when I found this site...

Thanks, guys... nice to know that I'm not the only one that Stephen King drove slightly more insane with his books...

My friends and I still make comments about grabbing a bottle of "astin" when we had headaches...

My ex-girlfriend used to get really creeped out and annoyed by me when I would be in a random/manic mood and just blurt out "TAK!" every once in a while... (But I think this would be more appropriate in a Desperation thread)

    My email address is KaLikeWind...

A couple of friends and I have gotten in the habit of saying "Thankee Sai" often enough that people on the street look at us strange...

And have you ever walked hand-in-hand with your girlfriend down a beach and had to explain why you suddenly blurted out, "Did-A-Chik! Dad-A-Chak!"???

I'm always waiting to see the lobstrocities wander onto the shoreline...

Nice to know I'm not alone...

Also, was I the only person in New York that looked up Hammerskold Plaza on Google Maps after finishing the Dark Tower series???

I am with you...I feel like I've (TAK!!) found my place here...thankee big-big, everyone <3

When I was in high school I went out for a lot of commercials and off broadway auditions and a few times I had auditions at 2 Dag Hammerskold plaza. When they (we) went there in DT I had goosebumps on my arms as I read the words. I could picture it in my head and it gave me a little thrill knowing I had been there in the early 90's...maybe I passed a character or two in my own travels

Dad-a-chum, dad-a-chee...my son loves when I go off on a lobstrosity rant!! cracks him up!

My husband can't wait to get a cat when we move into a house, and I told him I have already named it Oy. Best part is he wants a bengal, they're so beautiful and wild looking. very fitting.

My brother and I share this love for SK books, but i don't think I know anyone else who is nutty about it like me...very happy I found this mb!

Connie Reader, we are planning to name our third cat Roland. Cat lovers that are well met, it doesn't get any better!

Yeah, after listening to the audio version, I kept wanting to order a Tooter-Fish Popkin!
