Just finished Rose Madder. I thought it was actually a great book! I liked seeing Cynthia again, since I just read Desperation before this one.But I was wondering about the woman in the painting, and how it was DT connected. Was she like Rosie's twinner in a way, maybe? I really liked how it was sort of reminiscent of the old Greek myths. And the tree in the end? I understand it had to be planted to keep Rosie from going into rage. And the one part towards the end, where Dorcas was taking Rose Madder to see the baby one last time before she went "wherever creatures like her go when their end is near" (or something like that) was Rose Madder maybe a demon or something from the prim like Mia? Hmm, so many half-formed questions.... but it was a great read
