Hi,
Is it true that Mick Garris is adapting Bag of Bones for a four hour miniseries hopefully to be screened in 2011?
Long days and pleasant nights
As of Friday, nothing was set in stone but negotiations are underway. We will report information when we have firm details to report rather than rumor. There are a few other projects that are also of that status which is why we haven't said anything on the site. As Steve says, you'll see it here when it's officially from the horse's mouth.![]()
Wow, that would be incredible! Bag of Bones is one of my favourite SK books and I'm sure Mick Garris would do it justice.
*crosses fingers in hope*

"Horses mouth" Marsha? Glad someone can claim that end, coz in the big party of life-I'm usually in the posterior of the costume...![]()
I'm just the messenger for the horse--I don't report it until I've been given the okay.As of a couple of weeks ago, this was moving forward but details were still being negotiated so I can only confirm that it was being discussed with a network and that filming will most likely be in Alaska because the legislature in Maine still doesn't "get it" about film incentives.

It really would be great if they could shoot in Maine, but I guess Alaska looks like Maine with all the pine trees and all.
I'm reading the book right now and it is so Entertaining! I can't put it down... A movie/miniseries would be great. Like others I have the book all pictured in my mind when reading it so it will be interesting to see how the "film" relates to the book. Very Excited!
