"The Monkey" Movie adaption (probably not legal)

So, I Have not seen this brought up before, and have never heard Stephen King comment on it, but there is a film version of The Monkey.
It is the second half of a two part fantasy anthology entitled "Merlin's Wonderful Toy Store" or something close to that title.

The only reason I remember this is because Mystery Science Theatre 3000 did this film in an episode.

I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this, or if Mrs. Mod or Sai King was aware of that adaption?
(and it isn't that awful, to be fair).

I'm not going anywhere near anything that damn cymbal playing monkey(or monk-me, as my youngest said as a baby)has anything to do with. That furry little bastid has scared me enough for one lifetime-makes ME want to sit and throw poo at things. That is one evil freakin' primate. In other words-No, I know absolutely nothing about the movie, but everything about my loathing for that cymbal clashing little reprobate...

The second half of the movie Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders features an edited version of The Devil's Gift. I have never seen it, but imdb notes that "the film's plot is quite similar to that of Stephen King's short story 'The Monkey', leading many to believe that the filmmakers plagiarized the story." In addition to being an SK knockoff, its 2.0 rating out of 10 does not encourage me to check it out.
