Stephen King's first downloadable E-Book (late 90's)

Hi,
Does anyone remember the first e-book Stephen put out (i think it was) in the late 90's, maybe early 00's?
He put it out over weeks one chapter at a time, available for download. I seem to recall it was either a collection of short stories?

Payment for download was based upon the honor system with his threat to stop posting new chapters if users didn't pay for the download.
... after some time he eventually stopped posting due to lack of payment.

Does anyone recall this?? What was the Title of this Novel or Short stories?
I was quite into the first 3-4 chapters and have always hoped it would pop back up... but now i can't recall the name.

Yup, "The Plant" was it, coz I can remember sitting by my computer-sweating like a New York waiter, anxiously awaiting my chance to download the next chapter and screaming like an over-caffeinated banshee when my printer would go off-line halfway thruIt was well worth the hassle, and my only regret is that it's never been finished. More Plant please! (MY Miracle-Gro for you...)
